1. Bardoli – Bardoli is associated with Sardar Patel. It is also the center for most of the talukas or counties in South Gujarat. Due to its central location for many Talukas it is a major economic centre of Surat Metropolis.
The Bardoli Satyagraha movement was started in January 1926 after the land revenue in Bardoli taluka was increased by 30 per cent. In February 1926, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was called to lead the movement. All the details of the Satyagrah with photos are now conserved in the "Sardar Patel Museum". This place is middle of Bardoli town on station road.
2. Belur – Beluru is associated with Ram Krishna Paramhans. Belur is a Town Municipal Council andtaluka in Hassan district in the state of Karnataka, India. The town is renowned for its Chennakesava temple, one of the finest examples of Hoysala workmanship.
3. Chittor- Chitaurgarh is associated with Rana Pratap. This is a city and a municipality in Rajasthan state of western India. It lies on the Berach River, a tributary of the Banas, and is the administrative headquarters of Chittorgharh District and a former capital of the Sisodia Dynasty of Mewar.
4. Fatehpur Sikri - Fatehpur Sikri is associated with Akbar. Fatehpur Sikri is a city and a municipal board in Agra district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The city was founded in 1569 by the Mughal emperor Akbar, and served as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1585.
5. Jallianwala Bagh - Jallianwala Bagh is associated with Massacre of Indians by the British on April 13, 1919. It is a public garden in Amritsar in the Punjab state of India, and houses a memorial of national importance, established in 1951 by the Government of India, to commemorate the massacre by British occupying forces of peaceful celebrators including unarmed women and children, on the occasion of the Punjabi New Year on April 13, 1919 in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. Colonial British Raj sources identified 379 fatalities and estimated about 1100 wounded. Civil Surgeon Dr. Smith indicated that there were 1,526 casualties.
6. Haldighati – Haldighati is associated with Rana Pratap. In June 1576 the armies of Pratap and Akbar led by Sayyed Hashim Barha son of Sayyed Mahmud Khan met at Haldighati, near the town of Gogunda. Pratap's army was defeated but Pratap organised another attack, known as the Battle of Dewar, in which the Mewar army was victorious.
7. Kapilvastu – Kapilvastu is associated with Mahatma Buddha. Kapilavastu formerly Taulihawa, is a municipality and administrative center of Kapilvastu District in the Lumbini Zone of southern Nepal.
