Types of computer

A computer is an electronic machine that helps to process data. According to size and capacity types of computer are-

1. Micro Computer – these are used by individuals and also called as PC (Personal Computer). These are highly used for domestic and official purposes.

2. Mini Computer – These are larger than micro computers. These are 5 to 50 times more powerful than a micro computer.

3. Main Frame Computer – these are large sized computers. More than 100 people can work at a time on different terminals, this is a time sharing and multitasking technique.

4. Super Computer – These are very powerful computer and have more storage capacity. These are more expansive and fastest computers.

5. Quantum Computer - Quantum computers are different from digital computers based on transistors. Whereas digital computers require data to be encoded into binary digits (bits), each of which is always in one of two definite states (0 or 1), quantum computation uses qubits (quantum bits), which can be in superpositions of states.
